Acquiring a YL TESOL certificate was one of my goal
since it is an essential requirement for someone to be addressed
as a full-fledged English teacher to young learners.
But, it was not easy to do so because of the lack of
background on where and how to avail from it.
But luckily this year, with the joint efforts of
Goesan county and Goesan multi-cultural center,
we, the group of Filipino English teachers were
given this one of a kind opportunity to acquire this soon...
from the famous YL TESOL of TESOL COLLEGE!!!!
First, it was very favorable to us because
we can take the course through online.
(Thank you very much to whole staff for your
efforts of providing us the videos and printed
materials with sub titles!!! we were able to grasp everything easily).
Second, the whole curriculum was
very well designed and structured.
From the theories and the characteristics
of young learners, the clear definition of
our target learners who are in the EFL environment,
the 8 PA's up to the balanced literacy were effectively
demonstrated and modelled.
We were guided indirectly to the lesson
planning emphasizing the PPP model.
We were given the chance to think what
to delete or add from the lesson plans we created.
Third, our teacher, teacher Erin is the manifestation
of a desiring teacher herself.
Through her knowledge and experience shared,
we were able to see ourselves how to be such.
Aside from being professional herself,
her cheerful character, voice tone,
and approachable attitude leads us to love the whole curriculum.
Given all these meaningful experiences,
it is now on our hands how to apply everything in the field.
We are pretty sure that we can use and remember
what we have learned from TESOL COLLEGE'.
Thank you very much for the untiring guidance throughout the course.
MABUHAY!!!!
LONG LIVE TESOL COLLEGE!!!
MORE SUCCESS!!!
